Colony Cemetery is located in Fayette County, Texas, at the intersection of Texas State Highway 95 and Brown Road, approximately 8 miles north of Flatonia, Texas, and 18 miles south of Smithville, Texas.

Its first burial was that of Samuel Jenkins Brown in 1879.
