Brown Reunion Another Success
The 2011 Annual Brown Reunion was another resounding success this last weekend. Always well-attended, even without the outdoor grilling this year, Colony was packed with people. The cemetery was well-groomed, if dry from this worst of droughts. The food was delicious. The auction always entertaining.
I hope to instill in my children this wonderful tradition of bringing the Brown family back to Colony once a year, where we all started with Samuel and Jane Ann Brown, and to honor our loved ones buried there.
